The Photographer.
Barry Cheeseman allows his images to display his passion for photography.
His studies in the art have continued from the days of film through to the modern technology of digital imagery. Although well versed in all genres of photography, he now specializes in portraiture with a little time aside for weddings and art figure.
His first book ‘Galloping at Dawn’, co-developed with author Ailsa Rolley has received a Queensland Government grant of $10.000 to enable its release during June 2009 as part of the Government’s 150 years celebrations. The book  is comprised of stories and photographs of the characters that make up the thoroughbred horse racing industry of a small rural town in Queensland.
From his photographic tours of Asia, Barry has also published “Portraits of Vietnam”  a collection of  portraits captured whilst touring the area.
Barry has achieved recognition of his photography at local, state, national and international levels.
He is currently an accredited photographic judge with the Photographic Society Queensland and  a member of the Australian Institute Professional Photographers.
He continues to share his knowledge by lecturing on photography to many groups throughout Queensland.
